Lady Rebels Season Wrap-up

As winter sports has come to an end the Lady Rebels have finished their season at 17-6 overall and a 6-2 league record. The team had gone through many challenging teams and players through the year.

After taking first place in the district tournament for the second year in a row, they had qualified for the first-round into Regionals. Many practices, hard-work, and heart the team went in ready to give the Sterling Tigers a run for their money. March 2, 2018, the team had traveled to Sterling in hopes of coming out victorious. After playing a tough four quarters they fell short to the Tigers and the season has come to an end.
Though the season has come to an end Coach Canaday has already put in dates to start preparing for the next season. The summer is going to be filled with many dribbling drills, shoot-around’s, and basketball games. The next thing for the Lady Rebels is the annual after season banquet. All to celebrate the hard work the team put into the season and the victories they had accomplished. As well as celebrating the final years of the seniors time, playing as a Lady Rebel.

Congratulations to the Lady Rebels for an amazing season and thank you to an amazing effort the last years to the following seniors. Goodluck with your future goals-

Allison Daniel, Andrea Martinez, Emily Harris, Griselda Estrada, Katrina Begler, Mikayla Rupple, Yvette Espino
