Coco

This film is inspired in the Mexican folklore related to “Dia de los Muertos”. A young boy with a passion for music, hopes to unwrap the mystery surrounding his family’s hatred of music. He sets out on a quest full of twists and turns to pursue his dream and understand his history. Always accompanied by his loyal dog, Dante. In this film there will also, likely be intense scenes with ghosts, skeletons, and supernatural aspects that could be too much for younger sensitive viewers. Coco indulges the belief that kids know best, while it’s up to adults to come around. Coco’s family has a rule which was not to sing again but Coco taught himself to play the guitar, spending every free moment studying. Coco’s musical stash is discovered the day before his competition, and his defiance so upsets to his abuelita that she smashes Coco’s beloved guitar. Rather than give up, Coco on Dia de los Muertos steals Ernesto’s de la Cruz guitar, unleashing him to travel to the Land of the Dead. IMG_2644
