A 1986 horror novel by American author Stephen King, “IT” features a dancing clown who tracks and torments many children in Derry, Maine. A group of young kids going up against the clown called Pennywise, Who’s been murdering and kidnapping children for centuries. Seven young outcasts in Derry, Maine are about to face their worst nightmare; and ancient shapeshifting evil that emerges from the sewer every 27 years to prey on the town children. Bonding together over the course of one horrifying summer, the friends must overcome their own personal fears to battle the murderous, bloodthirsty clown Pennywise. There are people that stick through the whole movie when others will leave the scene upon getting scared.
There are some differences between the original and the 2017 movie. One difference is that the 2017 movie is more focused on having younger people for main characters. Another contrast is the more terrifying images. The recent performance was more interesting than the original and generated a great fear factor. The 1990’s film was closely tied to with the novel. Take the time to see this one. You’ll get the chance to get frightened for a night.
