President Donald Trump made a decision to end DACA. DACA is a program formed by President Barack Obama in 2012,  allowing people called “dreamers” who come to the U.S illegally as minors to be protected from immediate deportation. Nearly 800,00 are affected by this cause. The DACA program is to be ended on March 5, 2019, Mr. Sessions said the program had, “Denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing some illegal aliens to take those jobs.” Republicans are also happy that Trump ended DACA; thirty-seven percent of the party want immigrants in the United States to be deported. As well as the 83 percent of Republicans thought Trump,“ made the right decision” on ending the program. As for whether or not Congress should pass a law to allow “dreamers” to stay in the country, it is still up in the air. (npr.org)
