Teacher of the Month- Mrs.Jones

While being interviewed, Mrs. Jones was grading and watching her 7th hour first responder class which is just the one of 4 classes that she teaches. She teaches P.E. at our school, this includes, Aerobics, Dance, First Responder, and Athletic Training. Here is a little look at who Mrs. Jones is!

Q: How long have you been teaching?

A: 16 long years.


Q: Why did you decide to teach?

A: I wanted to teach dance but didn’t want to work nights so I decided to teach P.E.


Q: Where did you go to college?

A: I got my bachelors from UNC and my masters from the University of Phoenix in counseling.


Q: If you could choose another profession what would you choose?

A: I think I would be a flight attendant.


Q: How much longer do you plan on working before retirement?

A: 2-5 years before retiring from teaching. I will get another job though.


Q:What’s the biggest thing on your bucket list?

A:Visit every tropical island there is and scuba dive.


Q:What is your dream place to live?



Q:Who is your favorite kid?

A:Tyler Nebelseck


Q:How many pets do you have?

A:I have 8 dogs, a cat, 3 cows, 2 donkeys, and 3 kids, Maverick, Chesney, and Wyatt.


Q:What is your favorite thing about the school?

A:I like that it’s small, has good kids, it’s close, and I grew up here.


Q:What is one thing that you would change about the school?

A:We need more school spirit.


Q: Why do you think I interviewed you?

A:Because you were too lazy to do anyone else.
