Story by Wendy Perez and Cassandra Mota
Apple is introducing to you the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus, and iPhone X, that got released on Sept. 12, 2017. While the iPhone X is a new, high-end, flagship device, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 plus both feature very major improvements to the existing iPhone models. It will also feature an all-glass design with new aluminum-framed glass in colors like space gray, gold, and silver. Both models feature a replacement for the home button- a larger and faster finger sensor. Also, the battery will last longer, since charging it would be with an inductive wireless charging pad. The cost for a regular iPhone 8 is about $1000 and the iPhone 8 plus is estimated to be about $1200. When asked if the cost of the phone was worth all of the new features, Maria Mosqueda responded, “In my opinion, I believe that the iPhone 8 seems more of a great degree of good quality. It has good features but I think it would be more fragile, more intense to watch out for it so it won’t break as fast. The reason is it might be way more expensive to fix.” What do you think? Is it worth it?
