Interview by Brooke Dowdy
Q: What do you like about teaching?
A: I love to interact with young people, and love to teach English. I particularly enjoy colorful personalities and discussions along with learning new things.
Q: What do you teach and what are you involved with at WCHS?
A: I teach 10th grade English, Speech, and Journalism. In addition to sponsoring the school newspaper, I plan to start a poetry slam club as well as a literary magazine.
Q: What is your favorite weekday?
A: Well, that’s a weird question, but okay. I suppose I should say Wednesday because everyone likes Friday. I do like to be different, but there really isn’t a better day than Friday.
Q: What do you like to eat?
A:I would happily eat burritos every day-only bean or chicken, though; I’m a bad vegetarian. I don’t eat mammals.
Q: What would you like the school to know about you?
A: I am passionate about equity. I am transparent. I never hold a grudge.
