Colorado State opens up 2017 college football season against Oregon State in brand new, on campus stadium

CSU broke in their new $220 million stadium last Saturday in a smackdown win against Pac-Twelve member Oregon State, with the final score panning out to 58-27. This is a great statement win for a Rams team with newly refreshed identity.

The new stadium offered a new atmosphere for fans that some described as absolutely amazing, with an atmosphere that lives and breathes not only Rams Football, but the CSU lifestyle.

CSU Football is increasingly optimistic about the 2017-2018 season, with an off-the-bat win over a Power 5 school. The Rams will have a much bigger test this Saturday, when they host CU in the annual Rocky Mountain Showdown. CU Football finished last season, ranking eighth in the nation, with a loss in the Pac-Twelve Championship. Let’s see if CSU can keep up the win.
